Susan Catherine Dailey Westrenen, age 77, of Dushore, PA, passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2025, after a life-long challenge with diabetes.
Susan was born March 21, 1947, a daughter of the late Edward Martin & Suzanna Hallabuk Dailey. She graduated from St. Basil’s High School, a member of the class of 1965. She graduated from Mansfield University with a degree in Political Science and later received her MBA while in NYC. She married Karl G. Westrenen on October 27, 1972, and he predeceased her on August 8, 2013.
She retired early from NYNEX Corporation in Manhattan, NYC where she was a Business Forecaster.
Susan enjoyed following sports and especially liked to watch the NY Jets where her and her husband had season tickets for many years when they lived in Staten Island, NY. She also followed college football and professional hockey liking the NJ Devils. Susan and her husband retired to Las Vegas, NV and then built a home in the desert town of Sandy Valley, NV. She liked to travel with her husband both nationally and internationally. She liked to read and to plant flowers. She walked every day. Susan moved back to Dushore, Pennsylvania in 2016 to be closer to her siblings after her husband had passed away.

Funeral Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA.
