Sharon Jane Turner

Sharon Jane Turner, age 74, of Quicks Bend, PA passed away on Friday, January 5, 2018, as a result of an automobile accident.

          Sharon was born on October 10, 1943, a daughter of the late Richard & Dorothy Lee Allen. She married Jackie Merle Turner of Quicks Bend, PA, and he predeceased her on December 23, 1996.

          Sharon was a loving spouse, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. 

          She worked for various dress factories, Staff Management at P&G in Mehoopany, and later worked in elder care.

          Sharon enjoyed being with her grandchildren and great grandson.

          She was a social member of American Legion Post #42, Towanda, PA and Wyalusing Post #534 American Legion, Wyalusing, PA, a member of the Towanda Gun Club.

          She was predeceased by a daughter:  Toni Jo Turner Walters, on August 10, 2015; a granddaughter: Andrea Lynn Turner on July 28, 2010; by brothers:  Richard Allen, David Allen, Rex Allen, Bobby Allen and Dale Allen; sisters, Dorothy Margarete Heeman, and Jean Marie Allen.

          Funeral Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.  Interment will be in the Quicks Bend cemetery.

          The family will provide the flowers and ask that Memorials in her name be sent to Wilmot Fire Co., 1732 Quicks Bend Road, Sugar Run, PA, 18846.

          Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 1 Grovedale Lane, Wyalusing, PA.
