Richard "Rick" Lynn Johnson

 Richard Lynn “Rick” Johnson, age 63, of Wilmot Twp., Bradford County, PA, passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2023.

Rick was born on October 5, 1959, in Sayre, PA, a son of the late Clinton Charles “Cub” and Pearl Marie Salsbury Johnson. He attended the Wyalusing Valley High School.  

Rick worked for many years for the Jerry Johnson stone quarries. 

When he wasn’t working, which he greatly enjoyed he also would enjoy hunting, fishing, mowing his lawn and taking care of his property.

He is also survived by his grandchildren: Jessica, Tiffany, and Poppy, and also by Martha’s children: Diane and David Johnson and family of Sugar Run, PA, and Daniel & Tui Slocum and family of Overton, PA. Also surviving are seven great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was predeceased by his daughter, Tara Lynn Johnson on June 8, 1996, his father Clinton “Cub” Johnson on August 7, 1969, his mother Pearl Johnson on March 17, 2007, and his four brothers: Howard Edward Johnson on August 10, 1999, Larry Dale Johnson on May 26, 2010, Charles George Johnson on March 15, 2019, and Eugene W. Johnson on May 17, 2022.          

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at 11:00 AM in the New Era Cemetery. 

Friends and family may call on Saturday morning, September 30, 2023, from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM in the Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA.
