Paul E. Rowe Sr.

Mr. Paul Edward Rowe Sr., age 68, of Towanda, PA, and formerly of Waynesboro, PA, went home to his Lord and Savior, late Thursday evening, September 26, 2024, at home surrounded by love from his family after a lingering illness. 

Paul was born in Waynesboro, PA, on May 29, 1956, a son of the late Robert Grant “Bob” and Eleanor Mae Bricker Rowe. He attended the Waynesboro High School. He met and later married the former Katrina Simmers, on November 28, 1975. They would have celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary this November. 

After school he went to work for Regency Thermographers, as a mechanic for the printing machines. He worked there for 20 years, before leaving to buy into Barnhart’s Lawn and Garden in Waynesboro. He worked there until 2001, when he and Katrina moved to Bradford County, PA. Once in Bradford County, Paul helped his daughter and son-in-law with their dairy farm operation on Ghent Hill. 

Paul enjoyed woodworking and was an extremely talented auto body technician. He loved Mopar. Paul enjoyed hunting and spending time outdoors, especially camping trips with his family to western PA. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend and will be missed by all who knew him.

Great Grandchildren: Mason Bump, Gideon Rowe, and Amaria Smith.

Paul is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother Harold P. “Butch” Rowe, sisters: Annabelle E. Cool, Mary J. Farrow, and Brenda K. Oberholzer, and by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Glenn R. and Betty L. Triesh Simmers. 

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at 1:00 PM in the Fellowship Bible Church, 121 Mudcreek Road, Troy, PA 16947 with Pastor Eddie Newton of the Independent Baptist Church Towanda, officiating. Interment will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery, Troy, PA. 

Family and friends may call on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, from 12:00 noon until the start of the service at 1:00 PM in the Fellowship Bible Church, Troy, PA. 

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Homer Funeral Home, 83 Grovedale Lane, Wyalusing, PA.
