It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish.
Michael R. Molyneux, formerly of Sullivan County, age 68, of Brooksville, Florida passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020.
Michael was born on February 16, 1952, the son of the late Clifford and Ellen Molyneux.
He graduated from Sullivan County High School, a member of the class of 1970.
After school he briefly operated a small contracting service in the local area but his love was always around the automotive world. He was very adept at repairing and improving performance of high performance “Muscle Cars”. His buying, selling, and trading cars led him to a career of selling cars and providing car transportation.
Much of his life was spent in Ohio, where he operated a car dealership and also owned and operated Midwest Auto Transport Inc, and Midwest Transportation LLC.
Mike always had a love for Corvettes and even met his wife Marcia (Lander) at a Corvette Car show in the Sandusky Mall, in Sandusky, Ohio. They were married November 8, 1992, in Elyria, Ohio and resided in Bellevue, and Green Springs, Ohio before finally residing in Brooksville, Florida.
Mike enjoyed car auctions, in particular Classic Car auctions and enjoyed spending time with family both in Ohio and Pennsylvania.
Mike and Marcia have two children, a son Matthew and a daughter Michelle.

A Daughter: Michelle Mikala Molyneux of Brooksville, FL.
Three brothers: Kenneth Chase (Joanne), James Chase (Anita), and Clifford Molyneux (Eileen), all of Dushore, PA.
Mike also has numerous nieces and nephews on both sides of the family, as well as numerous brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-laws in Ohio.
He also has a daughter, Ashley Fritz from a previous relationship.
He was predeceased by his parents, Clifford and Ellen Molyneux, a brother, Patrick John Molyneux, and Father and Mother-in Law, John and Florence Lander.
Family and friends may call on Friday, July 30, 2021, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water Street, Dushore, PA.
The family requests that all who are attending to wear casual clothing.
Burial services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
