Mary Helen Johnson

Mrs. Mary Helen Johnson, age 67, of Cherry Township, PA, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Monday, November 21, 2022, at the UPMC Williamsport, PA.

          Mary was born March 15, 1955, in Norfolk, VA a daughter of the late Hal & Helen Boyle Seville.  She married Woodrow Carl Johnson of Williamsport, PA, on June 13, 2015, and they celebrated their 7th wedding anniversary last June.

          Mary was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.  She worked as a secretary for Brackney Leather, in Wyoming, PA, before retiring to Sullivan County.  She was a member of McDermott Post #452, American Legion Auxiliary, Mildred, PA.  She also worked as a DJ, at the Mildred and Dushore Legions, and also at area weddings.  She was also an accomplished, cook and baker, and really enjoyed her music.

          There will be a celebration of her life at the McDermot Post 452 American Legion, in Mildred, PA, on Saturday, December 10, 2022, from 2:00  to 6:00 PM.

          Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA 18614
