Margaret "Peg" Miller

Margaret Rose “Peg” O'Connor Miller, age 84, of Towanda, PA, passed away peacefully on late Sunday evening, July 14, 2024, at the Bradford Hills Nursing & Rehabilitation Center after a short illness.  

Peg as she was known by her family and friends was born in Sayre, PA, on June 27, 1940, a daughter of the late John J. O’Connor and Bernice E. Wilcox O’Connor. She graduated from Athens High School a member of the class of 1958. She then proceeded to graduate from the Robert Packer Hospital School of Nursing in 1961.  

Margaret’s passing leaves a void in the lives of all who knew her. However, her memory will live on in the hearts of her surviving family members: her daughter Catherine J. Miller and her son Christopher R. Miller. She is also survived by several cousins. 

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Mary Frances O’Connor on June 26, 2024.  

A Graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at 10:00 AM in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery, Ulster, PA.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Happy Tails No Kill Animal Shelter, Inc., 500 Cemetery Road, Towanda, PA 18848. 

Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of the Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA.
