Linda Hodgson

Linda Lehman Hodgson, of Gibsonia, PA and Laporte, PA passed away on October 27, 2018 at the Presbyterian Senior Care facility in Oakmont, PA.  Linda was born on July 3, 1942 in Natrona Heights, PA the third daughter of Charles and Mary (Herzog) Lehman.  She graduated from Washington Twp. High School in 1960, was a cheerleader and active in many clubs at school.  Linda also graduated from LaRoche College while attending at night during her work career with a degree in Business Administration.

Linda worked her entire career with Peoples Natural Gas Company, now Dominion Resources, where she retired from upper management in Marketing.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Jack, in 2010.  Surviving are her brother, Chuck, of Aiken, SC, step-daughters Judy (Jim) Carr of Lexington Park, MD and Jeanne (Gary) Garfunkel of Mobile, AL, along with step-grandsons Cory and Colin Garfunkel.

Family and friends would describe her as intelligent and talented, caring and soft-spoken, a wonderful cook, very skilled in arts and crafts, master at home decorating, and a golfer who always tried her best.  She loved both her home and her cottage at Lake Mokoma, where she and Jack had spent their summers for 40 years.

There will be an interment ceremony for the family to be held at the Mountain Ash Cemetery in Laporte at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, September 25th, 2019.
