Kurt Richard Rexer, age 21, of Dushore, PA, passed away on Monday, October 16, 2017, as a result of an automobile accident.
Kurt was born April 23, 1996, a son of Richard J. & Candice M. Woodhead Rexer. He graduated from the Sullivan County High School a member of the class of 2015.
Kurt was a hard working young man. His most recent job was with Staff Management at Proctor & Gamble. Much of the community got to interact and know Kurt while he worked at the Pump and Pantry and the Harrington Hotel. He also occasionally worked with his family's business.
As a Boy Scout, Kurt enjoyed camping, hiking, and traveling. He was awarded the rank of Eagle Scout on November 8, 2014. In addition to scouting, Kurt enjoyed socializing with family and friends as well as online gaming.
He was a member of St. Basil’s Church, Dushore, where he was an altar boy throughout his high school years.

A Transferal Service will be held on Friday, October 20, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. from the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA and will be followed by a Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 A.M. at St. Basil’s Church, Dushore, PA with the Rev. Bert Kozen, Pastor of Immaculate Conception of the B.V.M., Williamsport, as celebrant and Rev. Richard Rojas, pastor, con-celebrant. Interment will be in St. Basil’s Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday, October 19th, 2017, from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA and on Friday morning from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the transferal.
Five River Scout’s will assemble and pass in review at 10:30 A.M. Friday morning at the funeral home.
