Justin Lee Moon

Justin Lee Moon, age 26, of Sugar Run, PA, passed away tragically on Monday, May 16, 2022, as a result of an accident on Route 706, in Rush Township, Susquehanna County, PA.

          Tex as he was known by his family and friends, was born in Palestine, TX, on July 31, 1995, a son of Jimmy Moon and Reneé (John) Shaw. He was raised in Texas, and moved to Wyalusing, PA, in 2010.

          He married his high school sweetheart and the love of his life, Blaze Salsman on March 30, 2019.

          He was currently working as a manager at Bmillz, in Conklin, NY. He previously worked as a roofer’s helper for Reese’s Roofing of Rome, PA.

          He enjoyed spending time with his kids and attending sporting events with them. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle and vacationing and traveling around the country with his family.

He is also survived by an unborn niece, Kymiah Monae Shaw who is due in a week. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and Bo Snelson, Heather McCurdy, Caleb Stutes, Caitlynn Snelson; who all held a special place in Justin’s heart.

          He was predeceased in death by his paternal grandfather, Jerry Snelson of Palestine, TX, and his paternal grandfather, Milburn Blackwell of Houston, TX.

          A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 19^th, 2022, at 2:00 PM at the Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA. Interment will follow in the Colley Cemetery.

          Friends and family may call at the Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St, Dushore, PA, on Thursday afternoon, May 19, 2022, from 1:00 PM until the start of the service at 2:00 PM.
