Joseph Michael Opishinski

Joseph Michael Opishinski, age 61, of Poway, CA, passed away on Sunday morning, July 29, 2018, at the Palomar Medical Center, Escondido, CA, with his loving family at his side.

            Joe was born in Agana, Guam, where his father was stationed with the US Air Force.  He was a son of Margaret Brass Opishinski, and the

late Joseph Opishinski.  He graduated from the Frederick Douglas High School of Upper Marlboro, MD, a member of the class of 1975.

            Joe worked as a Truck Dispatcher for Staples and Joe enjoyed spending time with his friends.

            He was predeceased by his father, Joseph Opishinski, on January 21, 2016, and a brother Thomas Opishinski on January 11, 2015.

            A Graveside Service will be held at St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Cemetery, Lopez, PA with the Rev. Dennis Hendershot, pastor, presiding on Saturday, August 11, 2018, at 1:00 P.M.

            Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA.
