John Charles Fowler

Mr. John Charles Fowler, age 76, of Mildred, PA, passed away on Thursday morning, March 10, 2022, at the Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA.

          John was born on December 7, 1945, in Sayre, PA, a son of the late Paul W. & Genevieve Walker Fowler. He graduated from Towanda High School. He married the former Eleanor L. Pedro on December 3, 1971, and they made their home in Mildred. They enjoyed almost 43 years of marriage before Eleanor passed away on October 24, 2014.

          John worked as a self-employed truck driver, all of his life, where he drove all across the county. 

He enjoyed fishing and camping and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

          Besides his parents and wife, he was predeceased by a daughter, Jodi Lynn Fowler Miller on November 5, 2017, and by two brothers: Paul E. Fowler on April 30, 2006, and Harold L. Fowler on May 29, 2015, and a sister, Helen Irene Fowler Hollenback on February 7, 2003.

          Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.

          Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA 18614.
