James Michael D'Orazio Jr.

Mr. James Michael D’Orazio Jr., age 62, of Dushore, PA., passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021, at the Guthrie Memorial Hospital, in Towanda, PA.

          Jim was born September 27, 1958, in Bryn Mawr, PA, the son of the late James M. & Theresa Mary D’Angeli D’Orazio Sr.  He graduated from the Upper Merion High School a member of the class of 1977.  He married the former Kathleen Wells on September 22, 1995. They recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary.

          Jim worked in Montgomery County as a machinist, and owned D’Orazio Contracting for 25 years before moving to Sullivan County.

          They moved to Dushore in 2018 and Jim was currently employed by Cherry Township.

          He enjoyed fishing, and spending time outdoors with his children and grandchildren.

He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many close friends. Jim was also well loved by many of his friend’s children.

          Besides his parents he was predeceased by a son: James D’Orazio III on June 12, 2020; and a brother-in-law: Clint Price.

A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021, from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the Spring Mill Fire Company, 1210 E. Hector St., Conshohocken, PA 19428. Pop in and out, as light refreshments will be served with a cash bar. Masks are required except when eating and drinking. Please be mindful as the capacity limit is set at 50 people. So in and out as short visits are preferred. We, the family of Jim D’Orazio thank you in advance for your understanding.
