Glenn Robert Felter

Mr. Glenn Robert Felter, age 75, of Wyalusing, PA, passed away on Monday evening, July 17, 2023, at the Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA, surrounded by his loving family. 

Glenn was born on September 25, 1947, in East Stroudsburg, PA, a son of the late Edward E. Felter Jr. and Dorothy Hall Felter. He graduated from Wyalusing High School a member of the class of 1965. After high school he started working on the family farm, where he lived and helped out his whole childhood. He ran the family farm until he was in his late thirties and then started working at Cornell’s Manufacturing in Laceyville for a short time, before he started work at Procter & Gamble on July 9, 1990, and remained there until he retired on January 6, 2011. While at P&G he worked mostly in the Converting Dept., where they made paper towels.  

Glenn enjoyed cutting wood and was proud to have built a horse barn on the farm. He also was an animal lover and enjoyed raising cows, horses, chickens, and turkeys. He also had a special bond with his beloved dogs, Duke and Buddy. Bow hunting was a favorite past time, and going to bow festivals. However his greatest joy was spending time on the farm with family, especially his grandsons.

Besides his parents he was predeceased by two brothers, Edward E. Felter III on February 25, 1997, Wayne Joseph Felter Sr. on July 1, 2017, and a brother-in-law, Paul Luttinen on August 27, 2008. He was also predeceased by a grandson Jacob Drew Heeman on February 16, 2006, and by nephews: Aaron Felter on November 6, 2005, and Edward E. Felter IV on March 12, 2014.

Funeral Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
