G. Timothy Simpkins

Gary Timothy "Tim" Simpkins, resident of Pataskala, Ohio, unexpectedly went to be with the Lord at 1:53 p.m. on June 10th, 2022, in Columbus, Ohio.

Tim was born on February 8th, 1966, in West Chester, PA, to Gary Thomas and Susan Switzer Simpkins which are current residents of Hernando, FL. Tim was a 1984 graduate from Westerville North High School, where he played several sports and he attended Columbus State Community College where he earned his associate degree in business.

Tim was always employed in retail management where he won several Awards for top sales. He loved golf and was a major OSU fan.

Tim is survived by his loving wife Joann (Teegarden) Simpkins whom he married June 27th, 1995, and his beloved daughter Lauren Simpkins; a sister, Karen DiMezzo (Rich) who resides in Matthews, NC., as well as, aunts, uncles, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services were held Thursday, June 16th at Moreland Funeral Home, 55 East Schrock Road, Westerville, OH 43081. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association at diabetes.org in honor of Tim.
