Eugene William Johnson

Mr. Eugene William Johnson, age 70, of Wilmot Twp., Bradford Co., PA, passed away early Tuesday morning, May 17, 2022, in the comfort of his home.

        Eugene was born on November 24, 1951, in Sayre, PA, a son of the late Clinton Charles “Cub” and Pearl Marie Salsbury Johnson. He graduated from the Wyalusing Valley High School a member of the class of 1970.

He worked for the former Endicott Johnson Shoe Factory in Mildred until its closing and then went to work at Cargill from which he retired.

He enjoyed mowing his lawn and taking care of his property.

Richard L. (Martha Charland) Johnson               Wilmot, Twp., PA

And several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

          He was predeceased by his father on August 7, 1969, by his mother on March 17, 2007, and his brothers, Howard Edward Johnson on August 10, 1999, Larry Dale Johnson on May 26, 2010, Charles George Johnson on March 15, 2019, and his niece Tara Lynn on June 8, 1993.

          Private graveside services were held on Monday, May 23, 2022, in the New Era Cemetery.
