Emma W. Sellers

Mrs. Emma Walter Sellers, age 78, of Terry Township, Bradford Co., PA,  passed away early Wednesday morning, February 21, 2024, the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA.

Emma was born in Hatfield, PA, on June 13, 1945, a daughter of the late Stanley S. and Ruth A. Rickert Walter. She graduated from North Penn High School in Lansdale, PA, in the class of 1964. On April 30, 1966, she married Albert R. Sellers Jr, and they enjoyed 48 years of marriage before his passing on June 14, 2014. They lived in the Souderton area and retired to Bradford County in February of 2007. 

Emma spent her life as a homemaker for her husband and four sons. She was a member of The Lady Whittemore Reading Club and attended church at the Biblical Baptist Church in Meshoppen, PA.

She enjoyed quilting and spending time with her family.

Sisters: Jean Ellis, Nan Spencer, and Lois McKenna.

Brother-in-law:

Michael James Sellers                                          Wyalusing, PA

Besides her parents and husband she was predeceased by two infant sons: Albert R. Sellers III and Peter Sellers, two brothers, Arthur R. Walter Sr. and Charles Walter, and a sister Doris Walter.

Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Homer Funeral Home, 83 Grovedale Lane, Wyalusing, PA.
