David Peter Knouff

          Mr. David Peter Knouff, age 47, of Dushore, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 9, 2018.

          David was born on August 7, 1970, a son of Concetta “Connie” Lia Knouff and the late George James Knouff Jr. in Belleville, NJ.  He received his High School diploma in 1991. His family moved to Sullivan County in 1985. He married the former Kelly Letitia Vaughan of Williamstown, NJ on January 20, 2006.

He was currently serving as a caretaker for his mother. He previously worked in maintenance at the Highlands Care Center in Laporte, PA.

          He was a loving spouse, son, and father, and enjoyed riding horses, camping, and fishing. He also enjoyed watching the New York Giants Football Team and WWE.

He was predeceased by his father, George James Knouff Jr. on August 8, 2013, and by a brother George James Knouff III on March 19, 2013.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2018, at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA at 1:00 P.M., with Mrs. Gail Vaughan, lay speaker, officiating. Friends and family may call at the funeral home from 12 noon until the start of the service at 1:00 P.M.
