David Jesus Gwynn, age 54, formerly of Brooklyn, NY, passed away peacefully early Friday morning, March 25, 2022, at the Highlands Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Laporte, PA.
David was born on December 14, 1967, in Brooklyn, NY, a son of the late Leroy Gwynn Sr., and Martha Louise Watson Gwynn.
He married the former Deborah Johnson on December 30, 2002.
He was a loving husband, father of 10 children and grandfather of 19 grandchildren. He was honest, caring, and loved by everyone he encountered. He always had encouraging words. He was the rock of his family.
He enjoyed spending time with family, and also enjoyed playing video games, and reading about history.

He was predeceased by his father, Leroy Gwynn Sr. on October 14, 1995, and by his mother, Martha Louise Watson Gwynn on October 28, 2003 who are both buried in the Calverton National Cemetery in Suffolk County, NY.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA 18614.
