Clyde "Chuck" Preston Jr.

Clyde “Chuck” Preston Jr., age 69, of Stevensville, PA, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday morning, October 17, 2023, after a strong fight against cancer.

Clyde was born in Meshoppen, PA, on June 16, 1954, a son of the late Clyde Charles Preston Sr. and Beva Irene Dixon Preston.  He attended the Wyalusing Valley High School and married the former Joyce Ann Pastusic of Mildred, PA, who was the daughter of the late Stanley Francis and Frances Josephine Mucha Pastusic, on March 13, 1973.  They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this last March.

Clyde worked in the family logging business, first with his father Clyde and then with his brother Bob.

Clyde had a strong faith in God and love for his family and friends. His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren. He will be remembered by most for his quick wit and sense of humor.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, October 20, 2023, at 6:00 PM in the Hope Community Church, 5864 Jackson Valley Rd, Warren Center, PA, 18851. All are welcome to join Clyde’s family in this celebration.

Friends and family may call on Friday, October 20, 2023, from 5:00 PM until the start of the service at 6:00 PM in the Hope Community Church, Warren Center, PA.
