Betty Ann Rought

Mrs. Betty Ann Rought, age 65, of LeRaysville, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday evening, November 19, 2024, at Geisinger Scranton CMC surrounded by her loving family.  

Betty was born on August 10, 1959, a daughter of the late Kenneth and Joann Kinney Newell. She married Frank Rought on May 5, 1982, and he predeceased her on June 21, 2003.  

She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed being pampered such as getting perms, having her nails done, and spending time with her beloved sister, Penny.

Betty is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

Besides her parents and husband, she was also predeceased by a very special friend John Warfle Sr. on September 4, 2024. 

Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.  

Memorial contributions may be made to the Homer Funeral Home, PO Box 1, Dushore, PA 18614 to help the family with final expenses.
