Audrey Jean Woodruff

May 1, 1941 — August 26, 2017

                 Mrs. Audrey J. Woodruff, age 76, of Dushore, PA, passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at the Guthrie Memorial Hospital, Towanda, PA, with her loving family at her side.           Audrey was born May 1, 1941 a daughter of the late Clyde and Martha Brown Decker of Sugar Run.  She graduated from the Wyalusing Valley High School, a member of the class of 1959.           Audrey began working for the Bendix Corporation in South Montrose, where she met the love of her life “Woody.” They were married on August 13, 1960 in Wilmot and recently celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary.           She and Woody purchased the Dushore Beverage on December 4, 1972.  It was commonly referred to as the “Cave” before moving the operation to the town of Dushore.  Audrey and Woody are still servicing the area after 45 plus years in business.           Audrey was a member of the Dushore Women’s Dart League, where one of Audrey’s biggest bragging rights was winning the “Queen of the Hill” on February 16, 2014.   Surviving: Spouse: Leon                                                        at home   Children: Ginger (Steve) Kraycer                    Scott Twp., PA Leon “Buck” (Mary Ann) Woodruff      Dushore, PA Brenda Johnson                              Dushore, PA Candy “Fred” (Rob) Insinger              Dushore, PA   Sisters: Sally Brink                                      Camptown, PA Sandra Felter                                  Standing Stone, PA   Brother-in-law: Gene (Jeannie) Woodruff                     Tunkhannock, PA   Grandchildren: Dane Woodruff                                       Dunmore, PA Brittany Woodruff                                  Charlotte, NC Dustin Johnson                                       Elizabethtown, PA Dan & Danielle Weaver                             Jenningsville, PA   Great grandchildren: Danielle, DelRaye, and Brody           Several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by a grandson, Christopher Johnson; a son-in-law: Sheldon “Frenchie” Betz; sister and brother-in-law: Ann and Lyall Brink; brothers-in-law: Ray Brink and Ed Felter; and a sister-in-law and brother-in-law:  Norma and Don Trowbridge.           At Audrey’s request funeral arrangements will be private and at the convenience of the family, and are under the direction of the P.
