Mrs. Audrey Marie Hunsinger Sheppard, age 92, of White Stone, VA, passed away on Thursday morning, August 16, 2018, at home with her loving family at her side.
Audrey was born on April 17, 1926, a daughter of the late, Willard & Clara Sayman Hunsinger. She graduated from the Dushore High School a member of the class of 1942. She married Robert Rankin Sheppard on February 14, 1953, at the Zion Chapel, Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, Dushore, PA. They enjoyed 61 years of happy marriage before his passing on December 8, 2015.
Audrey began working at the Dushore Silk Mill, Dushore, PA, and later worked for the California Civil Service when her husband was stationed in CA.
Audrey enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and helping at her church. She was also an avid reader.
She was a member of the Zion Chapel, Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, Dushore, PA & St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Springfield, PA.

Besides her parents and husband she was predeceased by a brother; Major Paul W. Hunsinger USAF (retired) on February 7, 1984, and a step-father; Charles A. Raub, who died April 15, 1985.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, August 20, 2018, at 9:30 A.M. at the Fairview Cemetery, Dushore, PA, with the Rev. Phyllis A. Pelletier, officiating.
