Mrs. Anna Lynch, age 102, formerly of Dushore, PA passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 02, 2017 at the Mt. Hope Nazarene Retirement Community, Manheim, PA with her loving family at her side. Anna was born in Binghamton, NY on April 30, 1915, a daughter of the late Michael and Anna Moschak Yalch. She graduated from Binghamton Central High School a member of the class of 1933. She married Matthias J. Lynch Jr., on September 19, 1936 and they enjoyed 34 years of marriage before he predeceased her on December 3, 1970. In 1956 Anna and Matthias moved from Towanda to Elmira and then in 1977 she moved to Dushore. She was a member of St. Basil’s Church in Dushore. Surviving: Two daughters: Roberta “Bobbie” Lynch Weston, PA Sandra “Sam” (Rick) Miller Manheim, PA She is also survived by 6 grandchildren: Debra Browning (Jim) Hecht, Dianna Browning, Michael (Patti) Browning, Donna Winn, Ruth Ann (Eric) Patschorke and Rose Ann (Ann) Lynch; 7 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Besides her parents and husband she was predeceased by two brothers, John Yalch and Frederick Yalch and by three sisters, Rose Yalch and Irene Metalton and Mary Dudek. A Transferal Service will be held on Friday, September 8th at 10:00 A.M. from the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA and will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M. at St. Basil’s Church, Dushore, PA with the Rev. Richard Rojas, pastor, presiding. Interment will be in the Bradford County Memorial Park. Friends and family may call on Thursday, September 7th from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
