Alfred "Al" George Mueller

Alfred “Al” George Mueller passed away on March 6, 2019, at the Bohnam Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Stillwater, PA. He was born in Easton, PA on March 8, 1929, to Alfred Emil and Marie Honig Mueller. He was preceded in death by his wife Janet Clinton Mueller and his parents. He is survived by his six children, James (Sara), George (Laurel), Roger (Phyllis), Richard (Nancy), Kenneth (Rebecca) and Elizabeth (Curtis), along with fourteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Al grew up in Trevose, Bucks County, PA, and was a graduate of Lower Moreland High School. He studied Forestry at the University of Montana following high school. He met his wife while working at Long’s Nursery in Southampton, PA. They were married for sixty-five years and lived in Bucks County for nearly 25 years. They raised their family at Jericho Farm, where Al and Janet served as the caretakers of a private estate. They created a lifetime of memories for the children while living in Bucks County. In 1978, they moved to Sullivan County to be closer to and to take care of Al’s parents.

Al was an avid gas engine collector and restored countless numbers of vintage engines.  He enjoyed attending shows with his gas engine collector colleagues.  While living in Bucks County, he served as a Pennsylvania State Game Warden.

The family would like to thank his wonderful caregivers who assisted him while he was at his home as well as those at the Bohnam Nursing Center for their compassionate attention to his needs.

A private family service as well as a celebration of his life will be held at a future date.
