Marilyn "Lynn" Smith-Bohner

Marilyn “Lynn” (Search)Smith Bohner, age 76, of Fairfield Glade, TN passed away on Monday June 23, 2008 at Saint Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN. She was born February 13, 1932, in Tioga, New York, daughter of George Bruce and Pauline (Kinsley) Search. After graduating from Towanda High School, in 1950, Lynn attended Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science where she received a B.Sc.Ph.G degree in 1954. She maintained status as a Licensed Pharmacist for the state of Pennsylvania from 1954 to 1995 and was employed as Chief Pharmacist at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Philadelphia, PA from 1955 to 1959. As a teacher, Lynn supported the St. Joseph’s School of Nursing in Philadelphia from 1957 to 1959. Mrs. Bohner was an active member of the Fairfield Glade United Methodist Church and the Fairfield Glade Lions Club. As an accomplished organist she provided music for many social and formal events. Lynn Bohner blessed the lives of those around her and will be dearly missed as survived by her husband Walter A. Bohner of Fairfield Glade, TN and three stepchildren: Andrew C. Bohner of Waterford, MI; Edward C. Bohner of Clarkston, MI; Dianna Bohner Thomas of Columbus, GA and two grandchildren Ashley Kay Bohner and Edward W. Bohner of Waterford, MI. As well as her significant dear friends, Bobby Steele of Buffalo, N.Y. and Nancy Chismar Marolf of Bloomburg, PA.
