Skoglund, age 77, of Troy, PA, formerly of Wyalusing, passed away on December 15, 2009, at the Towanda Memorial Hospital, Skilled Nursing unit after a short illness. Eva was born April 14, 1932, in Bay Shore, NY, a daughter of the late Robert and Florence Ward Soder. She graduated from Ridgefield CT High School. After graduation she got a degree in Cosmetology. Eva married her husband of 57 years, Henry Skoglund of Georgetown, CT on December 26, 1952. He predeceased her on June 12, 2008. They moved to Bradford County in 1979. Eva volunteered at the Bradford County Manor. She enjoyed working outdoors in her gardens and loved her animals. Surviving: Daughters and sons-in-law: Elaine and Greg Bacon Wyalusing, PA Barbara and Daryl Knapp Wyalusing, PA Son and daughter-in-law: Paul Skoglund Troy, PA She is also survived by her grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Georgetown, CT. Interment will take place at Branchville Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 1 Grovedale Lane, Wyalusing, PA.
