Sherrill was born in Williamsport, on June 7, 1936 a daughter of the late Francis Lee & Anna Virginia Heess Bogart. She graduated from the Smethport High School, a member of the class of 1954. She worked for the Hub Surgical Company of Williamsport retiring after 30years of service. Sherrill was a member of the Elkland Friends Meeting. She was an avid reader and volunteer at the James V. Brown Library and took great joy in working with the Lycoming County Literacy Program. She loved her cats as her children and also helped with the Lycoming S.P.C.A. Surviving: Brother and sister-in-law: Vernon F. & Constance Bogart Forksville, PA Sister and brother-in-law: Dorothy Lee and Edward J. Rexer Forksville, PA Six nieces and nephews: Edward J. Rexer III, Eric F. Rexer, Jared F Bogart, Dana Bogart Pick, Aaron M. Bogart and Joshua D. Bogart; and four great nieces and nephews. Private Funeral Services will be held at the convenience of the family and they request that memorial contributions be directed to the library of one’s choice in Sherrill’s memory. Funeral Services are under the direction of the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA.
