Adams, age 88, of Wyalusing, PA passed away at the Sayre House on Friday, January 11, 2008. Lulu was born on May 28, 1919 in Wilmot Township, Bradford County, and was the daughter of the late Roscoe E. & Hattie Vargeson Lewis. She attended the Moxie School and married George J. Adams of Wilmot on March 2, 1936. George predeceased her on September 27, 1986. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1986. They moved to Athens where George worked for George Fraley Garage as the parts manager and later moved to Homets Ferry in 1963, when George worked for Taylor McCarty in Wyalusing. They retired in 1981. Lulu moved to Athens in 1990. Lulu was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Sayre, PA and a former member of the DAR. Surviving: William R. Fraley, who she loved as a son, of Dillsburg, PA Sister-in-law: Dorothy Adams Dushore, PA Brother-in-law and spouse: Roy (Pete) and Reba Adams Sciotavale, PA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and many dear friends in the valley area. She was predeceased by her brother Carl Lewis. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 1 Grovedale Lane Wyalusing, PA with the Rev. Rodney H. Saylor, her pastor, officiating. Interment will be in the Wyalusing Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Memorials are directed to St. Lutheran Church, 207 S.
