OBITUARY
Mrs. Pearl Marie Salsbury Johnson, age 81, of Wilmot Township, Bradford County, passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2007 at the Highlands Care Center in Laporte, where she was a patient since Feb. 7th. Pearl had been residing at the Wyalusing Personal Care Home for the past four and one-half years.
Pear was born in New Era, PA on January 19, 1926 a daughter of the late James & Lettie Drake Salsbury. She was married to Clinton C. Johnson, who predeceased her on Aug. 7, 1969.
Pearl was employed by the former Herman Rynveld Son’s Corp in New Albany and later at the Endicott-Johnson Shoe Mfg. Co. of Mildred, PA.
Pearl was a loving spouse, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Fourteen grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren and two nieces, and special friends: Mike & Flora Arenda, Mildred, PA and Norma Shaffer and Sandy Worrell of Wyalusing, PA and Martha Charland, of New Albany, PA.
She was predeceased by a son, Howard Edward Johnson on Aug. 10, 1999 and a brother, John Salsbury; a sister, Marguerite Molyneux and a granddaughter Tara L. Johnson.
At Pearl’s request there will be no viewing or flowers and services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in the New Era Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA.
