Martha was born in St. Louis, MO, on March 3, 1928, tenth child of the late Robert Hazlett and Adelaide Marie Anderson Gross. Martha graduated from Sacred Heart Convent School a member of the Class of 1946. She married Richard K. Clarahan of St. Louis on February 18, 1950. Martha and Dick resided in Pittsburgh, PA in the early years, then Tinton Falls, NJ, and moved to Sullivan County after Dick retired in 1985 from the Norfolk and Southern Railroad where he had worked for 35 years. Martha was a member of St. Basil’s Church, Dushore, PA. Mimi loved her God, her husband, her family, and her animals. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA and will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M. at St. Basil’s Church, Dushore, PA with the Rev. Bert S. Kozen, her pastor, presiding. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Laporte, PA. Friends may call on Friday, April 25, 2008 from 2:00 to 5:00 P.M. at the Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA. There will be a Vigil Service at 1:45 P.M. and Members of St. Basil – St. Francis Altar and Rosary Society will recite the Rosary at 3:00 P.M. on Friday afternoon at the funeral home.
