Ruby was born January 14, 1925 in New Albany, daughter of the late Lewis & Adelia Eberlin Dieffenbach. Ruby graduated from the Cherry Township High School. She married Edward A. Anjeski of Lopez on January 12, 1946 and he predeceased her on August 6, 2005. After high school she worked for Dolly Madison, Endicott Johnson, GTE Sylvania, and at the Ben Franklin Store, Dushore. She also helped out around the farm going out at the crack of dawn each day and back in at dark. She really loved to plant, weed and tend the soil. Ruby was a member of Zion Chapel, Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Dushore, PA. Surviving: Son: Paul Anjeski Laceyville, PA Daughter: Virginia Gilbert State College, PA Brother and sister-in-law: William & Eve Dieffenbach Tunkhannock Sisters-in-law: Florence Dieffenbach Monroeton, PA Mary Dieffenbach Dushore, PA Ernestine Dieffenbach Dushore, PA Dorothy Dieffenbach Dushore, PA Brother-in-law: Frank Anjeski Lopez, PA 4 grand children and 7 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Ruby was predeceased by Earleau Dieffenbach, Percy Dieffenbach, Rex Dieffenbach, Bud Dieffenbach and infant George Dieffenbach. Funeral Services were held on Saturday, December 1, 2007 at P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA with the Rev. Randele Lee Albers, her pastor, officiating. Interment was in the Colley Cemetery.
