Margaret was born March 24, 1924 in Ithaca, NY daughter of the late William H. Gaul Sr., and Anna Mae Casey. Margaret taught for many years at the School of Housing and Dining at Cornel University, Ithaca, NY. She was predeceased by her husband Michael Sofos. She was a loving spouse, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Surviving: Daughter and son-in-law: Patricia & Jean Claude Kennedy Wyalusing, PA Brother: William H. Gaul Jr. Newfield, NY Grand daughters and spouses: Sharon Belcher Theresa & Scott Hoover Danielle & Brian Carr Several great grandchildren and a niece and a nephew. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 27th at 1:00 P.M. at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 1 Grovedale Lane, Wyalusing, PA with the Rev. Diane E. Prentice, pastor of the Wyalusing United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in the Wyalusing Cemetery.
