Franklin, age 67, of Wyalusing, PA, passed away on Saturday evening, August 15, 2009 at home, with his loving family at his side. Jerry was born on June 28, 1942, in Sayre, PA, son of the late Glenwood M. and Mary Steele Franklin. He graduated from Wyalusing Valley High School. Jerry married Ruth Gromley of Clymer, PA on July 28, 1978. He worked and retired from GTE Sylvania after 34 years. In his retirement he enjoyed woodworking and making crafts. He especially loved spending time with his seven grandchildren. Jerry was a member of the Wyalusing Methodist Church, a member and past president of the Wyalusing Borough Council, and a lifetime member of the Wyalusing Fire Co.
