Lang, age 87, of Mildred, PA passed away on Friday, January 30, 2009 at the Memorial Hospital, Towanda, PA. Rose was born April 14, 1921 in Kremer, Wyoming a daughter of the late Ralph and Della Grille Angelo. Her family moved to Mildred in 1925. She attended the Cherry Township School and married Patrick J. Lang of Mildred on April 22, 1939 and he predeceased her on February 10, 1998 after 58 years of marriage. Rose worked for the former Weldon Mfg. Co. in Lopez, PA until it closed and later worked for Sullcraft Mfg Co. in Dushore, and the Endicott-Johnson Shoe Mfg. Co. of Mildred, PA from which she retired in 1983. She enjoyed maintaining her home and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Rose was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, Mildred, PA. Surviving: Son: Ralph Lang Deerfield Beach, FL Daughter: Lorraine Wanagitis Mildred, PA Sisters: Mary Juba Mildred, PA Josephine (James) Gardner Mildred, PA Sister-in-law: Beatrice Lang Dushore, PA 3 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, August Angelo of Baltimore, MD. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 5, 2009 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Mildred, PA with the Rev. Joseph R. Hornick, her pastor, presiding. Interment will be in the adjoining parish cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA 18614.
