Marjorie was born in Lopez, PA on March 14, 1932 a daughter of the late Worth & Lydia Bowman Dieffenbach. She graduated from the Dushore High School, a member of the class of 1950. She continued her education at Keystone Junior College. Marjorie was a homemaker and a loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of St. Andrew’s Church, Gibbsboro, NJ. Surviving: Son: David Nelson Voorhees, NJ Three daughters: Barbara (Bill) Neville Sewell, NJ Linda (Ryan) Fountain Granger, IN Elaine Nelson Glassboro, NJ Sisters: Regina Fedor Camp Hill, PA Anne (Ernie) Larson Edina, MN Marie Contini Drexel Hill, PA Four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews, including Carol Dieffenbach and Leo Dieffenbach and their families. She was predeceased by a brother Leo Dieffenbach on Feb. 18, 2003. A Transferal Service will be held on Monday, October 12, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. from the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA and will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M. at St. Basil’s Church, Dushore, PA. Interment will be in St. Basil’s Cemetery.
