OBITUARY
Rosalie Helene Higley, age 63, of Laporte, PA passed away on Friday, December 16, 2005 at the Memorial Hospital in Towanda, PA.
Rosalie was born July 11, 1942. Formerly of Mildred, she was daughter of the late Roy Calaman and Helen Minarik Calaman. Rosalie graduated from the Loyalsock Area High School, Estella, PA a member of the class of 1960. Those who knew her know how much she enjoyed crocheting and playing bingo. While raising her children she spent many years farming on McCarty Ridge, Estella. She and her children were very active in the Sullivan County 4-H Clubs.
She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, Mildred, PA.

She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 20th, at 10:30 A.M. from the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA and will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Mildred, PA at 11:00 A.M. with the Rev. Thomas R. Hudak, presiding. Interment will be in St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Monday, Dec. 19th from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. and from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M.
Members of St. Basil’s & St. Francis of Assisi Altar & Rosary Society will recite the Rosary at 3:00 P.M. on Monday afternoon at the funeral home.
