Cosgrove, 48, of Brooklyn, N.Y, son of Thomas H. and Mary Moran Cosgrove, passed away on March 28, 2009. He was born in Muncy on September 3, 1960. Patrick was a 1978 graduate of Sullivan County High School and had an associate degree from the Fashion Institute of Technology, NYC. He had a successful design business specializing in women’s belts and gloves. His merchandise was sold at Sak’s 5th Avenue, Barney’s, and in various catalogs. He was also proprietor of a specialty clothing store in SoHo and later worked as a window designer at Barney’s. Although a true New Yorker, Patrick enjoyed coming home to Laporte to visit his family and favorite areas of the Loyalsock Creek. He also enjoyed traveling to Europe, cooking, reading, and time with his nephews. He is survived by his mother, Mary Cosgrove, Laporte; brothers Thomas C. (Ellen) of Cambridge, MA, Michael M. (Diane), of Laporte, John R. of Clarion, PA, sister Mary Jo (Bill) Saxe of Laporte, niece Sophie , and nephews Tommy, Billy and Jacob. He was predeceased by his father on November 29, 1996. A special memorial to celebrate Patrick’s life will be held this summer at the family cabin.
