Mae was born September 5, 1919 in Newark, NJ, daughter of the late Julius and Josephine Koztowski Wasilewski. She graduated from the Rahway High School and attended Drake School of Business in Elizabeth, NJ. She married William Sysock of Lopez, PA on October 25, 1939. When Bill retired in 1974 they moved to Lopez, and he predeceased her on October 25, 1976 after 36 years of marriage. Mae was a member of St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Church, Lopez, PA. Surviving: Two daughters: Virginia (Bob) Tanko Sewaren, NJ Geraldine (David) Waterman Dallas, GA Two granddaughters: Cheryl (Keith) Taylor Virginia (Bob) Curry Grandson: Jason Waterman Great Grand Son: Travis Taylor Nieces and nephews: Betty Fletcher, Gene Kreski, Dr. Ken Kreski, Susan Kreski, Alice Swan, Jackie Fletcher, Richard Szabo, Dr. James Szabo, Danny Stasiak, Bill Stasiak, Rhonda Stasiak, Stanley Stasiak, Lydia Stasiak and Lori Tobin. Burial Service will be at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 28th at St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Church in Lopez, PA with Hieromonk Michael Thier, officiating. Interment will be in St. Vladimir’s Cemetery. Friends may call at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA on Friday, March 27th from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. A Parastas Service will be held on Friday at 5:30 P.M. at the funeral home.
