Anna was born November 18, 1919 in Lopez, PA a daughter of the late Matthew & Christine Kelechava Bochnovich. She married Michael Kachmarsky of Lopez, PA in August of 1940. He predeceased her on July 13, 1996 after 55 years of marriage. Anna was a lifelong resident of Lopez, PA and worked at the former Weldon Mfg. Co., of Lopez and later for the Endicott-Johnson Shoe Mfg. Co. of Mildred, from which she retired. She enjoyed the outdoors and playing the harmonica. She was a member of St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Church, Lopez, PA. Surviving: Son: John Kachmarsky Beacon, NY Daughter and son-in-law: Irene & Jurek Kowalski Frankfurt, Germany Daughter-in-law: Margaret Marek Sweet Valley, PA Sister: Vera Gulich Lopez, PA Brother-in-law: Peter Kachmarsky Dushore, PA Sisters-in-law: Mrs. Julia Bettin Bloomfield, NJ Mrs. Eva Smith Bellevue, WA Five grandchildren, four great grandsons and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, David Kachmarsky on March 24, 1974. Burial Service will be held on Friday, Aug. 10, 2007 at 9:30 A.M. at St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Church, Lopez, PA with Hieromonk Michael Thier, her pastor, officiating. Interment will be in St. Vladimir’s Cemetery, Lopez, PA. Friends may call at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA on Thursday, Aug. 9, 2007 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. and from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M.
