Floyd was born on July 23, 1952, in Whitesburg, KY, a son of the late Alex W. and Patricia Johnson Pratt. He enlisted in the Air Force shortly after graduating high school and served his country with dedication for over 20 years. While stationed at McConnell Air Force Base in Wichita, KS, he met and later married his wife of 28 years the former Jane Sandt. After his retirement and relocation to the Wyalusing area he was employed by CC Allis and Sons Inc. He enjoyed playing golf, and was an avid baseball and football fan. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 1 Grovedale Lane, Wyalusing, PA on Monday, October 22, 2007, with Dr. Robert Shaw, minister of Harding Church of Christ officiating. Interment will be in the Standing Stone Cemetery, Standing Stone, PA. Friends may call at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, on Monday from 11:00 A.M until the time of the service.
