OBITUARY
Julius Ottaviani, age 87 of Mildred, PA passed away on Monday, October 22, 2007 at the Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA.
Julius was born in Laporte, August 7, 1920 son of the late Anthony and Columba Comeletti Ottaviani. He married the former Helen Chrzanowski of Murraytown, PA on January 7, 1939. They recently celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary.
Julius was a union carpenter and worked on construction throughout Pennsylvania.
Julius was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church, Mildred, PA and a member of the Mildred Fire Company, where he was the former chief. He loved helping his family with many building projects. He also enjoyed ice fishing, watching western movies and playing cards.

12 grandchildren 9 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters; Mamie (Mickey) White of Lopez, PA on Oct. 22, 1998 and Jennie E. Caccia of Mildred, PA on Oct. 27, 2000; brothers; William Ottaviani of Binghamton, NY on Nov. 7, 1990 and Eugene Ottaviani of Phoenix, AZ in 2007.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, Oct. 26, 2007 at10:00 A.M. from the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA and followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M. St. Francis of Assisi Church, Mildred, PA with the Rev. Bert S. Kozen, his pastor, presiding. Interment will be in the adjoining parish cemetery.
Friends may call at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home on Thursday, Oct. 25 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. and from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
The family will provide the flowers and ask that memorials are directed to the Mildred Fire Company, PO Box 147, Mildred, PA 18632.
