Cornelia was born in Hollenback, PA on October 17, 1918 a daughter of the late Loran & Myrtle Frances Stoddard VanDeMark. She graduated from the Wyalusing High School and attended a business college. She worked for the former Blue Swan Mills in Sayre and also for mills in Reading, PA. She was married to Albert Taylor of Golden Hill, who predeceased her in 1968. She was married to Walter T. (Blackie) Blackburn and he predeceased her on September 20, 2000.
