Renson Sr., age 77, of Ringer Hill, Cherry Township, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2007 at the Memorial Hospital, Towanda, PA. Bill was born in Newtown, PA on April 23, 1929 a son of the late August & Ethel Graber Renson. He was raised and lived in Langhorne and Fairless Hills for over 65 years, retiring to Sullivan County in 1996. He served in Manheim, Germany with the US Army during the Korean War and was discharged in 1952. He married the former Mary Florence Hibbs of Langhorne, PA on August 7, 1954. Bill worked as a heavy equipment operator working for Saba Construction for 25 years and Better Materials Stone Quarries for over 24 years. Bill was a loving spouse, father and grandfather. He was a member of Loyalsock Post #996 American Legion, Dushore, PA. Surviving: Spouse: Florence at home Two sons and daughters-in-law: William L. & Janet Renson Jr. Fairless Hills, PA Mark R. & Terry Renson North Pole, AK Eight grandchildren: William III, Lee Ann and Christopher Fairless Hills, PA Matthew, Nicole, Cristy, Brock and Aleena North Pole, AK And several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers: Leroy, Fred and Elmer and a sister, Carol Livezey. Viewing and Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. with services at 1:00 P.M. at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA 18614. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Dushore, PA at the convenience of the family. Members of Loyalsock Post #996 American Legion are asked to assemble and pass in review at 12:30 P.M. at the funeral home. The family will provide the flowers and request that memorials be directed to the Laporte Ambulance Association, PO Box 31, Laporte, PA 18628.
