OBITUARY
Leo T. Hope, age 65, of Lovelton, PA passed away on Monday, July 5, 2010 at the Mercy Tyler Hospital in Tunkhannock, PA.
Lee was born on March 31, 1945 in Lovelton at the family farm of his parents the late Robert Francis and Genevieve Margaret Coyle Hope. He attended the Lovelton grade school, Mehoopany Elementary School and the Tunkhannock High School. He was an excellent mechanic and worked at Sick's Garage in Tunkhannock before entering the Army. He served in the US Army in Vietnam from 1966 to 1968. He was a truck driver for several years and was elected as a Supervisor for North Branch Township, Wyoming County. He also worked for Washington Township, Wyoming County for several years until retiring.
Lee was a member of St. Anthony's of Padua Catholic Church in Stowell, PA and a member of Black Walnut American Legion Post # 510 and a member of FWM Fire Co. of Mehoopany, PA and served as a fire policeman.

Two brothers-in-law: Francis Ricci, Dushore and Tom Comstock, Laceyville, PA
And numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers: Arthur Hope of Lovelton on October 10, 1969 and Joseph Hope of Lovelton on May 3, 1974; and two sisters: Rose Comstock of Laceyville, PA on January 20, 1974 and Patricia Ricci of Dushore, PA on July 30, 1992: nephews: Arthur Souto on May 18, 1972 and Stephen M. Sedlak on January 14, 1989: and a great nephew: Brian W. Barry, on July 16, 2003 and a brother- in-law Manuel Souto on January 28, 2010.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday morning, July 9th, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 1 Grovedale Lane, Wyalusing, PA with the Rev. Joseph R. Hornick, pastor of IHM Parish, Dushore, PA presiding. Interment will be in St. Anthony's of Padua Cemetery, Stowell, PA.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, July 8th, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.
Graveside Military Services will be accorded by members of Black Walnut American Legion Post #510, Laceyville, PA.
