Chris was born January 28, 1966 in Wichita, Kansas a son of Robert W. and Emmi Bonnes Avery. He attended local schools and was spend a great deal of time with his grandfather George, who helped to raise him. He was employed for several years in the Produce Industry as a shipping and receiving clerk. He re-located to Dushore in 2003.
