OBITUARY
Richard L. Dieffenbach, age 77, of Wyalusing, Browntown Mountain, PA passed away on Saturday, December 30, 2006 at the Community Medical Center in Scranton, PA.
Richard was born in Wilmot Twp., April 30, 1929 son of the late Richard G. & Helen Munley Dieffenbach. He attended school in Sullivan County and entered the US Marine Corps during WWII when he was sixteen years old.
He married the former Helen L. Prichard of Sugar Hill on June 21, 1952. They celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary last June. Richard was a life long dairy farmer, operating his farm on Browntown Mountain for over 30 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved horses. He hunted and fished in his earlier years.
He was a member of St. Mary’s of the Assumption Catholic Church in Wyalusing, PA.

Funeral and Committal services will be held on Wednesday, January 3rd at 1:00 P.M. at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, One Grovedale Lane, Wyalusing, PA with Rev. Philip S. Rayappan, pastor, presiding.
Friends may call at the Homer Funeral Home, on Wednesday, from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
