Norma was born in Germantown on May 27, 1930 daughter of the late Joseph E. & Loretta A. Walsh Bailiff Sr. She graduated from the Germantown High School and married Herbert Leroy Barrett in 1947. He predeceased her in 1962. She married H. Daniel Stevens on February 24, 1968 and they recently celebrated their 38 wedding anniversary. Norma was a school bus driver for the Wissahickon School District retiring in 1989 after 25 years of accident free service. She has been a summer resident of Cherry Township for 50 years. They resided in Blue Bell for 35 years until moving here full time in 2003. Norma enjoyed crocheting, ceramics and spending time with family on the farm. Nester Mildred, PA Three grandchildren and spouses: Michelle & Mark Zimmerman Lansdale, PA Marie Nester Mildred, PA Meredith & Ronald “Kip” Lowrey Mildred, PA Ten great grandchildren and one great great grandson and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Earl Bailiff Jr. and a sister Loretta “Peachy” Hendrickson. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at the William R. May Funeral Home, Main St., & Elm Avenue, North Wales, PA Interment will be in the Hillside Cemetery, Roslyn, PA. Friends may call on Sunday, Oct. 15th from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA and on Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. at the May Funeral Home in North Wales.
