Babe was born in Lopez, PA July 3, 1929. She was the daughter of the late Michael & Anna Gulich Borick. She graduated from the Lopez High School and also in 1960 from the St. Francis Medical Center School of Nursing, in Trenton, NJ as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She married Paul Snider of North Carolina, an Air Traffic Controller, on May 9, 1964. They resided in Boston, Massachusetts, for a short time and Paul got transferred to North Ridge, CA for 15 years and in Lady Lake, FL for 13 years, retiring to Lopez, in 2001. Surviving: A daughter Tammy Snider Laporte, PA Son: Mark Snider West Lake Village, CA Brother: Steve Borick Towanda, PA Two sisters: Eva Schneider Perkasie, PA Mildred Black Summit, NJ Sisters-in-law: Cecelia Borick Boyertown, PA Robin Borick Hudson, FL and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters: Mary Bushofsky, Anna Mushallo, and Helen Schneider and brothers; John Borick, Nicholas Borick, Michael Borick, Frank Borick, and Daniel Borick. Burial Service will be held on Monday, October 11, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA with Hieromonk Michael Thier, pastor of St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Church, officiating. Interment will be in St. Vladimir’s Cemetery, Lopez, PA. Friends may call on Sunday evening, Oct. 10th at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. There will be a Parastas Service at 6:30 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
