Catherine was born in Lopez, PA on November 24, 1913 a daughter of the late John & Catherine Kusnerak Bizup. She married Walter Raido of Lopez, PA on November 12, 1938. They resided in Jersey City and Lopez. Walter, a self-employed painting contractor and Laundromat owner, predeceased her on March 28, 1986. Catherine was a homemaker and a loving spouse and mother. Catherine was a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Jersey City. Surviving: Three sons and daughters-in-law: John & Mary Raido Jersey City, NJ Victor Raido Little Ferry, NJ Edward & Jo Ann Raido Secaucus, NJ A sister: Helen Pyzolo Pittsburgh, PA Grandchildren: John Raido, Elizabeth Raido, George Raido, Jennifer Raido Great grandchildren: Daniel Raido Kaitlyn Raido And several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Kenneth A. Raido, on May 15, 2004: four sisters: Mary Baran, Anna Petroski and infant sisters, Eva & Edna Bizup; Six brothers; Andrew Bizup, Joseph Bizup, John Bizup, Adam Bizup, Gilbert Bizup and Michael Bizup. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 26th at 9:30 a.m. from the P. Dean Homer Funeral home, 206 Water St., Dushore, PA and will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Mildred, PA with the Rev. Bert S. Kozen, pastor, presiding. Entombment will be in the Raido Family Mausoleum in Lopez, PA. Friends may call on Wednesday, July 25th from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the P.
